A speeder is a maintenance of way motorized vehicle formerly used on railroads around the world by track inspectors and work crews to move quickly to and from work sites. In the 1990s, speeders were replaced with trucks with flanged wheels that could be lowered for on-rail.
The speeder is set on a set of tracks with other train artifacts, including a caboose, on display.
