Stable's Cafe is located at 223 N. Division in Guthrie. This is a two-story frame and brick building which was built in 1910 and is a contributing building to the Guthrie Historic District.
Stable's has been here since 1987. They specialize in BBQ, steaks and burgers and have the best onion rings you'll ever find. Throughout the cafe, on the walls, ceiling and floors are all sorts of memorabilia from the 40s and 50s and before.
As you enter the cafe, on your right are three vintage gas pumps on display. They are all in excellent condition.
* Champlin Premium - showing 27-1/2 cents per gallon
* Richfield Phillips 66 Hi Octane (with a very unusual gallon gauge)
* Phillips 66 Ethyl Regular - showing 21-1/2 cents per gallon
Be sure to view these when you're hungry and stay for a meal. Stable's Cafe is open Sun-Thurs 11-9; Fri-Sat 11-10 and is only closed on Christmas, Thanksgiving and July 4th.
