The 1-1/2 story brick dwelling at 223 S. First Street, also known as the Olds House, is a contributing building to the Guthrie Historic District. It was built in 1899 and is in the Victorian style. The streets are original brick.
Red Brick and Roses Bed and Breakfast welcomes guests here to one of their two large guest suites - one on the first floor and one upstairs. Each suite has a private bath with an antique claw foot tub, and a sitting room. Innkeeper Becky Luker serves a full breakfast to her guests, which can be delivered directly to their room.
The downstairs suite rents for $147 per night; upstairs is $137. Each room can also be booked for two as part of a Murder Mystery Package for $255 and $245 respectively.
The photo gallery shows a photo of a very old catalpa tree at curbside which could very possibly be almost as old as the buidling.
