This bronze statue of a pig and hen is laying on the sidewalk in front of Around the Corner restaurant, a favorite among locals. Inside you will find some fascinating photos of Edmond in the early days. There are many public art pieces in downtown Edmond very close to this one.
The pig (ham) is laying on the sidewalk, and the hen (eggs) is sitting on his back. His ears are alert, and he is facing forward and slightly upward. The hen is turning slightly to the left, facing the same direction as the pig. The length of the sculpture is about 2 1/2 - 3 feet long and about 2 feet high. A wrought-iron bench is next to the sculpture.
