The building at 124 W. Chickasha Avenue is a three-story building, occupied through the decades as a hotel. The original New Chickasha Hotel was built in 1916 with 40 rooms. An addition in 1918 added 60 rooms. In 1922, 30 additional rooms were added and in 1929, another 40 rooms, with the remodeliing in Mission/Spanish Colonial Revival style as seen today.
The first level has concrete panels with multiple rehabilitated storefronts. The second and third levels are stucco. The main entrance is on the west elevation. Above this entrance is a shaped parapet with concrete ornamentation on the roofline. Red ceramic tile coping decorates the west elevation roofline, with projected columns with concrete urns.
The upper levels have triple aluminum frame jalousie windows, which replaced the original six-over-one windows). A large metal sign stands on the roof at the southwest corner of the building, reading The Chickasha Hotel. The building is vacant at this time.
