Blue Springs Park has several springs on the property. The largest is Blue Spring, which is a 2nd magnitude spring. The pool is 100 feet in diameter and 24 feet deep at the vent near a diving platform. Water temperature is a constant 72 degrees. Nearby is Naked Spring, Johnson Spring, Little Blue Spring and Keifer Spring. The water flows down a 1/4 mile run into the Santa Fe River.

At the time of this post, at least half the swimming area was over-run with exotic aquatic vegetation.

In springtime, the darker waters of the Santa Fe River can flood over the springs.
