Cornwall, a port City on the St. Lawrence Seaway, is named after the County in the southwest of England.
Formerly an important pulp and paper manufacturing center it is rapidly transforming itself from an industrial town to a tourism center servicing the boaters on the St. Lawrence River.
This Welcome Sign is at the Northern Entrance to Cornwall where Highway 138, the link to the the Trans-Canada Highway, Highway 417, to the north meets the City outskirts at South Branch Road and Cornwall Center Road.
While you're here why not find "Welcome to Cornwal" GC2E8AC, http://coord.info/GC2E8AC, which is concealed right on the sign!
