Orchard Rd, Singapore is the premier shopping precinct of Singapore, filled with the classiest (and hence, the most expensive) selections of consumer (largely female consumer) items imaginable. One of the older and slightly less prestigious, in fact somewhat reminiscent of the 'old' Singapore (when it was less classy, therefore more fun), malls is the 'Lucky Plaza'. Filled with many small shops selling a wide range of the cheaper items, with 'sharp' merchants ready to take advantage of an unskilled negotiator, Lucky Plaza deserves a visit from any visitor to Sing.
