The public libray of Oberwil is managed by a local NGO. It was founded in 1956 and moved to the current location - a former warehouse near the tramway station - in 2001. It shares the building with some other non profit organizations.
They have about 14,000 items: books, CDs, DVDs or games.
One year member card is CHF 35 for books only, CHF 55 for all articles (children CHF 10 / 25; there are also some other reductions available).
