Marbleton is home to the Sublette County Fairgrounds. Of course, there is the annual county fair in July and the Little Buckaroo Rodeo in August. Even though Marbleton has all this cowboy oriented activity, its primary economic activity seems centered around the oil fields and the petroleum industry, accounting for its recent growth.
