The octagonal, goblet-shaped, stone font set on an octagonal step is to be found just inside the south porch door of this small, grade II listed, village church.

Although the church was originally built in the 13th century the font is not of this age, more likely to date from the 18th century when parts of the church, porch and part of the chancel, was rebuilt. The church was then again much restored, re-windowed and chancel rebuilt in 1877 by E.F. Law.

The font is lined with lead, the top edge of which is scalloped and the cover is wood with ornate iron fretwork and a central lifting ring.
