** THIS MONUMENT HAS BEEN REMOVED FOR STREET WIDENING **
This Veterans Memorial Park includes a World War I cannon donated by the Kearns American Legion Post 132, a Kearns Viet Nam Memorial, a Camp Kearns Monument, the original flagpole that marked the gateway to the Army Air Force Training Command - Camp Kearns (July 20, 1942 - Sept. 2, 1945), and a sign: Welcome to Kearns, Established 1942.
There is a Lions Plaque on the bottom left side of the Kearns Viet Nam Memorial and a Lions International sign at the west end of the park.
