The ornate white Anderson County Courthouse, built in 1915, houses the Anderson County Clerk's Office and the local circuit and district courts. Public restrooms are also available.
This distinctive historic building is the county's third courthouse. The current structure replaced the second courthouse, which burned in early 1915. The first courthouse was destroyed by fire in 1859.
