This landmark Interstate Brick smokestack, constructed around the turn of the century, was the site of the old Interstate Brick plant. The chimney was built in 1902 and was called the SMITH KILN CHIMNEY. It was part of a plant reached productions of 60,000 bricks per day. Operations of this site ended on November 28, 1972 when the plant was shut down and dismantled.
This Stack is unique because it is the tallest remaining stack in Utah made of Brick.
