The area of Fremont Street which is home to many of Las Vegas' original casinos is now a canopied pedestrian mall. But in 1971, when Diamonds Are Forever was filmed, traffic normally flowed by, so this Street had to be closed for three days to film a car chase around the iconic casinos and neon signs.
