The Black Diamond on display here has been used in several communities to celbrate diamond jubiliees. The town of Bow Island donated it to a more appropiate town after a little black paint - Black Diamond, Alberta.

Giant Black Diamond Monument & Restored Coal Cart can be viewed year round. This monument pays homage to the town's coal mining history.
You will find it located at the Town of Black Diamond Municipal Office, which provides visitor information weekdays 8am-4:30pm.
