This Soviet Howitzer is on display at the Korean War Memorial, near the "Brothers" monument, in Seoul Korea. It was used both in World War I, and in the Korean War by the North.

Howitzer developed by Soviet in 1942 and
it is operated as howitzer or anti-tank gun
during the World War II. North Koreans
acquired these guns from Soviet and operated
during the Korean War. These weapons are
relatively light so can be effectively used
on rough terrains and can be easily moved
and relocated. These guns reduced weights
by making gun bridges with steel pipes and
equipped with armored plates and rubber
tires to protect artillerymen.
