This wonderful sculpture is in front of the new Denver Animal Shelter facility near Interstate 25 and Alameda. The dog is a steel frame covered with thousands (millions?) of dog tags. The tags shimmer and rattle in the breeze. The piece is visible from the highway and makes a perfect beacon for those looking for a new furry friend. I included photos with the crane to get a better understanding of the size of this piece. (visit link)
