The Bill Dreggors Park is located on the site of the historic Old DeLand Memorial Hospital, which is now a museum about the hospital. The Park also includes a playground and a hiking trail, as well as a nice little butterfly garden. The butterfly garden was created by the DeLand Garden Club and it includes a self-guided tour. The sensory components of the garden (e.g., scent, color, texture, taste and touch) were included for the visually and physically challenged. Unfortunately, nothing was in bloom during our visit and there were no butterflies to be seen.
