The village was nearly destroyed by fire in the 1860's , The church which survived the fire is full of unexpected treasures.
The statue of St Michael the patron Saint stand on a ancient wall bracket.
The piscina by the altar dates from late 13th century with a fine arch and carved circular basin.
The oldest window is the triple lancet also 13th century.
