De Begijnen- en Katelijnevest (aan de O.-zijde) zijn verbonden door de Minnewaterbrug, in 1311 opgetrokken als houten brug; huidige brug van 1739 n.o.v. de Brugse architect-beeldhouwer H. Pulinx sr.. Het is een stenen constructie met uitzondering van de middelste boog die mogelijk tot 1874 opgevat was als houten ophaalbrug om barge door te laten. Zevenledige boogbrug van baksteen en blauwe hardsteen, bekroond met ijzeren borstwering; aan zijde van Begijnenvest, behouden grenssteen met gotische "B" en "28".
