Cruisin' the Boulevard - Coats for Kids is a charitable event sponsored by the Bountiful Rotary Club. This year marks the 12th anniversary of this event dedicated to aiding our local children. Elementary school Principals in cooperation with the teachers and the PTA identify children in need of winter clothing from the Bountiful area schools. Once a child is identified, the principal presents a voucher to the parents. With the voucher, the child and parents can go to the Woods Cross K-Mart Store and pick out a new coat, boots and mittens. Since our first Car Show in 1998 over 4000 children have received new winter coats, boots and mittens.
The Car show is open and free to the public, all that attend Friday Night and Saturday can help raise money for "Coats for Kids" by: Eating Friday Night at the Food Court and Saturday Lunch in the Park. Thanks to our generous sponsors all profits from food sales go to help the Kids.
This year there are about 100-150 cars on display.
