The summer fun begins at the Snowbird Resort as soon as the 600+ inches of snow give way to the suns rays. The ZipRider at the resort is a great ride for the young or young at heart who like to be strapped into a harness and zip down a steel cable. Accessed by the Chickadee lift, the ZipRider carries harnessed riders over 1,000 linear feet down a suspended cable from the top of Chickadee to the Snowbird Center.
Snowbird is located 25 miles southeast of Salt Lake City near the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, State Highway 210, approximately 45 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport.
