This spring in Big Spring Park provides summer recreation for the children of Cotter. I have been unable to find flow information but I would estimate it to be a second magnitude spring. It feeds a creek that runs parallel to the White River for a half mile or more before flowing into it. One unnamed source said the water comes from nearby Crooked Creek but I have been unable to verify that. At any rate, there is an abundant flow of cool clear water.
