The Jefferson County Administration & Courts Facility sits on the highest point of the county facility land. It is easily visible from the nearby highways, Lookout Mountain and many other locations in the area. The building was designed to reflect the life and architecture of the county's namesake, Thomas Jefferson. The glass dome is styled after the rotunda Jefferson designed for the University of Virginia. It is a beautiful building with many interesting features. (
