The Almonry Herritage Centre is housed in the medieval home of the Benedictine Almoner during the lifespan of Evesham Abbey. The museum traces local history from Roman times through to the Second World War.
In particular the museum has many exhibits about:
* the Abbey, formerly very powerful until the dissolution of the monasteries.
* the battle of Evesham on 4 August 1265 between Simon de Montfort and the future Edward I.
* the English Civil War, where there was a nearby battle on 26 May 1645.
* peaceful rural and town life.
Most exhibits are inside the building, though some are outside in the grounds.
