Glenwood Springs is a great weekend getaway from many Coloradans, Utahans and Wyomingites. The hot springs (
visit link) are a delight to either swim, play or soak. There are three pools - one for swimming and play, one for children and a warmer pool for soaking (bubble chairs are operated by quarters). Glenwood Springs is a 'real' city with many amenities as well as traditional visitor fare. The Fairy Caves (
visit link) are a geologic treasure. Take time to visit the Storm King Mountain 14 memorial (
visit link) . You can hike to Doc Holliday's grave (
visit link) or take a river rafting tour.
Yes, I enjoy visiting Glenwood Springs and encourage other to do the same! One of the great ways to visit is to take the AMTRAK train (
visit link) thru stunning Glenwood Canyon.
