This benchmark is located at the Willow Creek Summit on U.S. Hwy. 93. The cap is located about 85 feet southwest of highway centerline in a limestone outcrop. There is no marker post but some rocks are piled around the cap. The cap was set in limestone outcrop by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1933 and was marked T15, elev 7160.888.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1933 12.1 MI NW FROM CHILLY. 12.1 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 27 (NOW U.S. HIGHWAY 93 ALT.) FROM THE SCHOOL AT CHILLY, CUSTER COUNTY, AT WILLOW CREEK SUMMIT, ON THE SOUTHEAST SLOPE OF A RIDGE, 300 FEET SOUTH OF A HIGHWAY MACHINE SHED, 85 FEET WEST OF THE CENTER LINE OF THE HIGHWAY, AND IN THE TOP OF THE NORTH POINT OF A SOLID LIMESTONE OUTCROP MARKED BY THE PAINTED LETTERS BM AND A ROCK CAIRN.
