A combined WW1 and WW2 memorial on the simple gardens that are between Mumbles road and the beach.
It stands with the dates of the two great wars on it:-
1914-1918
1939-1945
Also on the north side is the latin phrase:-
PRO DEO REGE
ET
PATRIA
A nearby laid stone reads:-
This memorial was unveiled by
Admiral of the fleet
Sir F.C Doveton Sturbee Bart
(some titles that are hard to make out)
On the Twenty first day of May 1923
This would mean this memorial was originally a first world war memorial but after the second world war was incorporated as a combined memorial.

 Description of Memorial: A tall white sandstone pillar with a coat of arms at the top, and some shaping of the tip area. It is set in a circular walled area with four entrances around it.
