Located behind the Red Cabin Custard stand, these directional arrows point to numerous cities and towns around the country. It is an appropriate place to have these arrows since this is a major tourist area; it is not clear if some of them were posted by tourists themselves. The arrows are nailed to three sides of a tree near the log shelter to the west of the custard stand. While there…their custard is delicious, and they offer a regular “flavor of the day.”
Historic significance:
Since this area sees a lot of tourist traffic, these directional arrows are fun for those who have come from a distance. It is unknown whether they were placed by the business owners or by tourists passing through.

Sioux City would be the closest city to where we currently live, but in the near future we will live only 2 miles from these signs.
