The sculpture is a hollow tree house designed for children to explore. The tree trunk has an entrance on one side and many openings giving the appearance of open knots on the trunk where large limbs used to be. The trunk has the appearance of a rough bark. The sculpture is of reinforced concrete with a cement coating with the details modeled into the cement.
