A friendly if generic Wetherspoon's pub on Eastgate street, popular with locals and tourists.
Tafarn y Porth (The Gate Tavern) opened in October 2001 in what was a Tesco store.
As you would expect for a Wetherspoon's there is a wide range of beers, ales and wines to choose from at reasonable prices.
The pub has two floor and there is a large beer garden at the back of the pub.
