A large public house opposite the train station in Shrewsbury offering a good range of beers and real ales.
The pub itself was clean and had nice period features such as the brass hand pumps serving the cask ales.
The sign depicts the Island of Britain (in old tongue Albion) with the countries within it of England, Wales and Scotland. There is a union jack flag that is the state flag of England and Scotland, but Wales has its own state flag and doesn't recognise it. There is also a Bull dog that is heavily linked with England.
