Davis is a small community in Turner County, South Dakota, and is located on SD Highway 18 just west of Interstate 29.
It had a population of 92 as of July 2009 which reflects a 12% population decrease from the 2000 census.
The area was settled by German, Norwegian, Dutch, Irish, and Italian immigrants and the town was incorporated on March 19, 1896.
