This popular California Farmers' Market Association farmers market features specialties of the season. Over fifty California Certified Growers and Producers visit this market each week to sell their goods. Here you'll find a selection of tree-ripened cherries from the San Joaquin Valley, sweet strawberries from Watsonville, ripe organic produce, Asian vegetables, raw milk farmstead cheeses, wild pacific salmon, and fresh baked artisian breads, just to name a few.
The prices here are slightly higher than some of the other regional markets, but they are still very reasonable and lower than stores. The quality on some things is also a lot better, notably the fish and the apples. This market runs year round, rain or shine, and it is always a buzz of activity.
