The Federal Government of Canada built a veteran's hospital in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue in 1917.
The hospital provides veterans with long-term or respite care in addition to offering support services, through its day center, to clients who still reside in the community and to Veterans who require mental health services or short-term hospitalization, through the National Center for Operational Stress Injuries.
Sainte-Anne Veterans' Hospital is affiliated with McGill University since April 2007.
The coordinates were taken at the entrance of the main pavilion.
