The monument has a metal roof. On each side of the roof the words "IN MEMORY OF OUR BRAVE BOYS" is engraved, along with an eagle in relief. The fourth side has an engraved wreath. The three granite slabs commemorate those who fought in:
World World I - 46
World War II - 78
Korea - 8 / Vietnam - 24
This monument formerly stood in front of the Caddo County Courthouse in Anadarko. The courthouse is undergoing extensive remodeling and additional building. A new war memorial is being planned for the courthouse. When standing on the courthouse grounds, this monument had a statue of a World War I Doughboy holding a flag pole atop the monument. (
