Their margins are filled with wonderful and different communities of ferns.
Mammals like the otter, wild cat, the genet, fox, wild boar are the banks that line the water habitat.
There are frequent observations of water-thrush, kingfisher and heron.
The presence of two Iberian endemic species: the Iberian frog and salamander Lusitania are indicators of the quality and uniqueness of this coastal ecosystem.
The descent begins at the River Beach Monastery.
