Salisbury Beach State Reservation is a 521 acre park with 3.8 miles of beach along the Atlantic Ocean. It provides a wide variety of recreational activities. The campground has 484 campsites able to accommodate RV vehicles and tent campers. Fishing, boating and swimming are popular activities. There are several strategically located bathhouses, a nature center, three restrooms, two boat ramps on the Merrimack River, playground, pavilion, and a boardwalk traversing the sand dunes. It is also a good location for bird watching and, in the fall and winter, viewing harbor seals.
