FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
The first church to be organised and chartered within Kissimmee's corporate limits, the congregation was organised on September 21 1884 with 16 members. The first Pastor, the Rev.Caleb E. Jones, helped to design and construct the church building. Construction was begun in 1885 and the building was dedicared on May 6, 1886.
The architectural style is Wooden Gothic (or Steamboat Gothic as some of the same kind of wooden trimming on the sides was often used in the steamboats of that day).
