This waymark started on the Hungarian site (visit link) The language of the site is naturally Hungarian, but I translate the mains.

The original coordinates are now disposed to the biggest Hungarian soaring airfield, Dunakeszi (LHDK), but they are transportable to any place in the world.

My request: if you find a suitable place in your country, please download the GPX files from (visit link) , convert to your environment, and walk this trail.

Useful tools for converting this silhouette to your environment: 2 Excel tables, both contains the Gobe. If you write to the headlines conversion data (new coordinate, horizontal mirror flag, rotation angle, resize), the result is the converted coordinate series for the desired place.

First is in track format (coordinate series), downloadable:

www.compumap.hu/track offset_rotate_mirror_resize_gpx.xls

Other in waypoint form, contains coordinates of important point of silhouette:

www.compumap.hu/wpt offset_rotate_mirror_resize_gpx.xls

The result in both coordinate series and GPX files.

Another way is to use the bitmap silhouette of the glider (below in the gallery) as an overlay bitmap in Google Earth or in any bitmap-base chart e.g. in OziExplorer or Fugawi. Your walk on this trail may be a new waymark.

It will be an impressive sight to see the old bird in several places of the world, to commemorate the recently deceased planner.

This waymark made by Hungarian cacher Csuhas, using my basic idea and navigation plan on 12.31.2011. I will repeat this waymark in my city airport Debrecen (LHDC) and on the Hajduszoboszlo Airfield (LHHO) in the future.

Visit Instructions:
You must visit the given co-ordinates and provide a photo. Beyond that, there are no mandatory additional visit requirements, but you may want to try your hand at reproducing the design in the original Waymark. Go on ... why not? However, you can't log your copy of the original track as a new waymark ... for that you'd need to do it in a new location.
