Near the northeast corner - assuming a lake has a corner - lies this private recreational property with a rather unique design. It is a partial two-story residence shaped like a shoe. It has been painted to accentuate this motif, even down to shoe laces. Additionally, there are characters and other items painted on the side that reinforce the "Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe".
According to wikipedia, the most common version of the rhyme is:
There was an old woman who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children, she didn't know what to do;
She gave them some broth without any bread;
Then whipped them all soundly and put them to bed.
This whimsical house is situated between the road and the beach, just south of the Indian Creek Ranch.
