If you’re looking for a cooling reprieve while strolling along the promenade of Marina Bay. This three pavilions, constructed from glass and stainless steel with large fans that provide a cool and breezy “pause point” for visitors. In order to conserve energy, the fans are activated by motion sensors and will stop moving when the sensor does not detect any movement under it.
The building integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) System uses the polycrystalline silicon cells technology. Each shelter’s BIPV system can generate 4KW of power under bright sunny day, enough to light up more than 250 table lamps of 15W each.
