The clock has three faces, that look to have been recently re-furbished, they are on the north, south and west side of the spire, close to its base and below the lantern. The clock face is round and painted black. Between the central spindle of the clock and the inner side of the hour marks nine "light bulb" shapes have been set into the face. These are evenly spaced around the face with the crowns of the "light bulbs" towards the hour marks. The shapes have what appears to be a perspex backing that may allow for illumination at night. The minute and hour marks are painted in gold onto the face and are traditional Roman numerals for a clock face. The minute marks are around the edge with small, oblong shapes for the intermediate minutes and triangular shapes for the five minute markers. The hands are also coloured gold.
