Fauquier Hospital Helicoper Landing Pad - Helicopter Landing Pads on Waymarking.com

The Fauquier Hospital has a helicopter landing pad near the emergency department. The landing pad was renovated along with the hospital in 1980. It is dedicated to the Citizens of Fauquier County and the Kiwanis Club of Warrenton. The LZ is a large flat asphalt surface with perimeter lights around it. A windsock s ets just near it. This site is used often for transports to other trauma facilities in Northern Virginia and Washington metro area facilities. The helipad is also very close to local fire department and rescue squad. Fauquier Hospital is a well know respected hospital facility in the piedmont region.
