This marker for Elmer L. Owen is at the far northeast corner of Athens Cemetery. The cemetery is just south of Athens on the far southwest corner of Ouachita National Forest.
Three logs are the top of this marker, with the WOW emblem on the face of two of them. A photo of Elmer is above the inscription on his headstone. Two curved branch etchings form a cross above his photos. "Owen" is inscribed at the bottom.
