Surrounded by huge willow trees, grass reeds, a small arch brides and a slope to the northwest, these little ponds are highlighted by a small central fountain, a single vertical jet. In the spring one will see children scrambling over the lawn and searching through the bushes for the annual Easter egg hunt which has been held for over fifty years here.
Lakeview Park is 44 acres of scenic green land that was once part of the Orson F. Persons homesteaded dating from 1888. The park's name comes from Ethel Lake that was once here, and artificial lake created for irrigation, but also used for swimming, fishing and boating.
