Jakob Prandtauer (* 16. Juli 1660 (Taufdatum) in Stanz bei Landeck (Tirol); † 16. September 1726 in St. Pölten) war ein österreichischer Architekt. Er gilt als einer der bedeutendsten österreichischen Barockbaumeister. Als sein Hauptwerk gilt das Stift Melk (1702-1736), an dem er bis zu seinem Lebensende arbeitete.

Prandtauer Jacob (born July 16, 1660 (date of baptism) in Stanz bei Landeck (Tyrol), † 16 September 1726 in St. Poelten) was an Austrian architect. He is considered one of the most famous Austrian Baroque architect. His main work is the Melk Abbey (1702-1736) where he worked until his death.
