Per the Highway Hosts, this location: " The Warrenton Motor Lodge and Restaurant complex opened in 1966, and by the middle 2000s had become one of the last three original Howard Johnson's Motor Lodges in all of Virginia. Moreover it became the last of the classically configured roadside type Motor Lodge in the state."
