The Beaver County Courthouse was built in 1926. The two story red brick was designed by the Butler Company and was built by local builder S.S. Strong around the earlier stone courthouse. The ornamentation is restrained in style with simple arched entries and stone belt courses being the primary features.
Recently the courthouse has undergone a significant expansion with the addition altering the the appearance of the courthouse substantially.
The courthouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
